Guaranteed Standard of Service
The guarantee standards set out the required level of services that the electricity companies must achieve and abide by as service providers. In the event of non-compliance with the required level of service, the customer is entitled to obtain (or claim) a specific amount of compensation from the Licensees.
These standards aim to:
Protect customers to obtain high-level, reliable services and raise the satisfaction level with the services provided to them.
Encourage the licensees to provide a high level of service to customers.
